Why didn't I get flat rate delivery on my order?

There are a few possible reasons why an order may not qualify for flat rate delivery. Flat rate shipping does not apply to select equipment orders, drop ship orders, or orders that ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO or international destinations.

Additionally, orders do not qualify if the total shipment weight is more than 50 lbs.

Why does shipping to a residential address cost more?

Commercial shippers such as UPS and FedEx charge additional fees for any delivery to a residential address.

It’s cheaper for carriers to service commercial addresses. Commercial addresses are typically in higher density areas, someone is usually available to accept the package, often there are multiple deliveries going to the same address, etc.
