What equipment do I need to start a sublimation business?

To start a sublimation business, you will need a sublimation printer, sublimation paper and ink, a heat press, and your blanks. You can also purchase fabrication tools for sublimation to make the process easier.

Do you have to use shrink wrap when sublimating tumblers?

If you’re sublimating your tumblers in a convection oven, you will need to use a shrink wrap or a silicone quick-release wrap so your transfer is on your blank with pressure. If you’re sublimating with a drinkware press, the machine itself will apply pressure to the transfer and tumbler, so you won’t need to use any shrink wrap.
